ThingTrax was founded in 2015 to help manufacturers transform the way their labour, processes and machinery connect.
Dedicated to building the autonomous factory of the future using cloud computing, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, its mission is to turn the 80% of unconnected factories worldwide into smart manufacturing hubs; connecting machines, workers and robotics to improve efficiency, increase worker safety, reduce costs and drive productivity.
Co-founded by Aman Gupta and Imran Shafqat, ThingTrax was accepted into an accelerator run by Cisco and University College London within a year of launching. By December 2017, it had signed up its first two customers; just a year later, it was managing 600 machines for global manufacturers.
Today, its backers include some of the UK’s leading investors, and its customers number some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers.
